What personal information Zentek Ltd. collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We collect very little. If you send us an enquiry we receive the details you type into the form; our host records standard server logs. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Zentek Ltd. ("Zentek", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information collected through this website (the "Site"). It applies to the Site only.
It does not apply to personal information we handle in other contexts - for example as an employer, in the course of a commercial or research relationship, or through our shareholder records maintained by our transfer agent - or to third-party websites we link to, each of which has its own privacy practices. "Personal information" means information about an identifiable individual.
Note that this deployment of the Site is a private, password-protected preview. Access is logged in the ordinary course by our hosting provider as described below.
If you submit the investor relations or business development enquiry forms on our Contact page, we receive the information you enter. Depending on the form, this may include your name, organization, email address, the nature and subject of your enquiry, and the message you write. Fields marked as required are needed for us to respond; anything else is optional. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in an enquiry, and do not send us confidential or non-public information through the Site.
Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page or file is requested, which typically includes your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or document requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system type. These server logs are used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site.
Access to the preview is protected by a shared password using standard HTTP authentication. We do not create individual user accounts and we do not store a personal profile for preview visitors; the password itself is not personal information about you.
We do not knowingly collect payment card details, government identifiers, health information or other sensitive categories of personal information through the Site, and the Site does not host advertising or third-party ad tracking.

We do not use the information you submit to build advertising or marketing profiles, and we will not add you to a marketing distribution list on the basis of a Site enquiry alone. If we ever wish to use your information for a materially different purpose, we will obtain your consent or otherwise rely on a lawful basis.
In Canada we handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. By submitting an enquiry form you consent to our using the information you provide to respond to you as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, though this may mean we cannot respond to your enquiry.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR applies to you, our lawful bases are: consent, where you voluntarily submit an enquiry; legitimate interests, in operating and securing the Site, responding to correspondence and maintaining business records, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and legal obligation, where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
The Site does not currently use analytics, advertising, social-media or other tracking cookies, and it does not set marketing cookies or use tracking pixels or web beacons.
Your browser may cache Site files, and standard HTTP authentication credentials for the preview are held by your browser for the duration of your session; these are functions of your browser rather than tracking technologies deployed by us. The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers that includes your IP address and is subject to Google's privacy practices. If we introduce cookies or analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before doing so.

Zentek is based in Canada, and our service providers may store or process information in Canada, the United States or other countries. Personal information held in another jurisdiction may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that jurisdiction under its laws.
Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on an applicable transfer mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. You may contact us for further information about the safeguards we use.
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
In practice, enquiry correspondence is generally retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, and thereafter for a reasonable period as a business record. Server logs are retained for a short period in the ordinary course of our hosting provider's operations. Where a legal hold, investigation or claim applies, we retain the relevant information until it is resolved.
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption of Site traffic in transit (HTTPS), password protection of the preview, access controls limiting internal access to those who need it, and reliance on established service providers.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information to us by unencrypted email or through the Site.

The Site is intended for adults - primarily investors, analysts, commercial counterparties, prospective employees and professional advisers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal obligations. The revised policy takes effect when posted and the "last updated" date above will be revised. Where a change is material, we will take additional steps to notify you and, where required by law, obtain your consent. Please review this page periodically.
